Christian Singles Boring? No Way

Do you have Christian principles and beliefs? And are you single, divorced or lonely and looking for romance with someone who shares your principles? Then you owe it to yourself to get out from under your restraints and find someone who cares about the issues that you care about, and is looking for friendship or even romance with a like minded soulmate. I found a useful link at the Singles-America.info Blog
You know, after my wife passed away, I kind of buried myself in my work, and even though I went to church, and prayed for guidance, it seemed like my life was at an impasse. Lonely for three years, and no progress, it was evident to everybody I knew. I didn't become a lush, and I always showed up on time for work, I just seemed a little, well distant to my co-workers. And that’s just not me.
So one day after a particularly lonely time at a party I was invited to by some co-workers, I made up my mind to have a heart to heart talk with my pastor. After the Pastor's sermon, I was inspired to reach out for help.
When we met , I bared my loneliness and depair to him. I told him that I found some comfort in prayer, but that I needed to find someone to help fill the void that my wife’s death had left. We discussed the fact that I had been to several church related events, but that I felt that everyone knew my story, and my feelings, and somehow, out of respect or hesitancy, I couldn’t bring myself to make the first move towards breaking the ice with any of the other members of our congregation.
Pastor Bill, smiled and with a compassionate look on his face, he told me that perhaps the best way for someone like me to break the ice might be an online dating service.
"Consider this" my good friend. “I know what you are going through, and I am not suggesting that you betray your Christian principles or open up your home to strangers who are looking to take advantage of you. But you really should take advantage of modern technology and utilize a safe, confidential internet site such as MatchMaker.com, it’s a site where you can meet only Christian singles who share your beliefs and principles. You can't be blamed for being a little nervous about dating someone in your church or letting the congregants know everything about your personal life, that's why you at least consider online Christian personals. I got good feedback from others I trust in town.com seems to offer a confidential, inexpensive practical way to meet someone new. Give it a shot.”
I thought it over, and you know, it wasn’t long before what the pastor said seemed to make sense. So I gave Matchmaker.com a shot. I’ve reviewed dozens of profiles, and have actually shared emails with 3 seemingly very nice Christian women. I am really excited about getting together on the telephone really soon, and I still have some doubts, but at least I have people I can talk to, and I might even find a relationship, or at least a friend.
